Who provides Berry, how to contact us and where you can turn as a consumer.

2. Contact

Write to support@qr-iva.com. The same address receives questions about accounts and payments, personal data requests, notices of illegal content under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act) and requests from authorities. It is our single point of contact for users, for authorities, for the European Commission and for the European Board for Digital Services (Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act). We answer in Romanian or English.

3. Hosting

The app and website are hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States); the functions that process requests run in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). The database and files are stored with Supabase, in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

4. Content published by users

Alerts, sightings, photos, reviews, parks and messages are published by users, who are responsible for them. Berry hosts them and does not check them before they are published. To report content, use the report button in the app or follow the steps in the Community guidelines.

5. Consumer protection

If you have a complaint, please write to us first; we try to resolve it quickly and amicably. You can also turn to:

  • the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC): anpc.ro
  • alternative dispute resolution (ADR, "SAL" in Romanian): anpc.ro/ce-este-sal
  • if you live in another EU country: the European Consumer Centre in your country. The European online dispute resolution platform (ODR, "SOL" in Romanian) closed on 20 July 2025.

6. Data protection

How we process personal data is explained in the Privacy policy. The supervisory authority in Romania is ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
